Lady Tiger Basketball Banquet
Lady Tiger Basketball Banquet will be on Monday, March 26 in the AMCHS cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. Athlete's meal is comped, parents, grandparents and fans meal is $10.00 payable in advance and due by Thursday, March 22nd. Parents are needed to help decorate. Please let Coach Heintz know if you would like to volunteer at kheintz@csisd.org.

Congratulations!!!!
Congrats Lady Tigers on a very successful weekend of tournament play! The Varsity participated in the 63rd Annual Conroe Tournament where they took 5th place with a tournament record of 3-1. They are 3-2 on the season with both losses coming to Regional Finalist Huntsville.
Also, both Freshman and JV teams took 1st place in the Navasota Freshman and JV Girl's Basketball Classic. The JV fought off Montgomery in the final match and the Freshman rolled in their final game against Brenham.
Note From Coach
Hello Lady Tiger Parents,
The season is off and running and the girls had a good week of focused learning and hustle. We are pleased with their concentration and effort was good.
I am sure that you noticed our first home game is Dec. 6 which is about five weeks away. In the event that you cannot travel with us, I feel it might be a good idea to have an "open practice" on Monday, November 7th from 5:30-7:30. During that time, the girls will go through a regular practice including skills and game situations. This would afford you an opportunity to watch your daughter's skills and effort first hand. Normally, our practices are closed. But, on November 7th you are invited and welcome to share this time with us.
We will also give you your concession game and away game meal assignments at this time. Hope to see you then!!!

Conditioning and Skills are a major priority as we prepare for the season. The girls are currently still alternating skills and weight days with Friday focusing on speed, agility, and cardio. Keep working hard girls!!!
ICE CREAM SOCIAL
The Lady Tiger Basketball Staff and Administration would like to invite you to join us in celebrating another exciting year of Tiger Basketball. We will be having an Ice Cream Social to give parents an opportunity to meet the coaches, get firsthand information on our program, sign up for our Concession Stand Fundraiser (our biggest fundraiser), and just have some fun!

Note From Coach
"Howdy Lady Tiger Fans!!! The first week of pre-season basketball was full of hard work and high expectations. The majority of our upperclassmen returned to school in good shape, mastering the sprint and shooting components of their pre-season assessment very well. I am proud of the effort the girls showed in meeting the first challenges of this season.
This week we will be pre-testing in the weight room with all players in order to establish their working weights for our first six week cycle of lifting. All players are expected to improve their maxes when we test again in seven weeks...they can do it with hard work and great form!!!
Fundraiser monies are due on Tuesday, September 6th at the latest. Supporting Tiger Club through the fundraisers is very important and very appreciated. Thanks to all!!!!
Please watch for the Ice Cream Social date to be posted soon. This is our mandatory parent meeting that is also a social event. This meeting gives parents an opportunity to get to know the coaches and to receive first hand information about team selection, procedures, etc... It also gives the upperclassmen a chance to get to know the freshmen players. More information coming soon.
