The Lady Cubs competed in the Brenham track meet last night. For the 3^rd week in a row the CSMS girls and boys swept the competition by winning all 4 divisions. The 7^th grade girls won with a score of 199 and the 8^th grade girls scored 245 points. The 7^th grade girls were trailing most of the meet but got some much needed points at the end of the meet by the mile and mile relay runners. The 7^th grade girl’s results were: Raven Manley 1^st place in the long jump, Rachel Roberson 1^st place in the discus, Maddie Jenkins 1^st place in the high jump, Catherine Haberl 1^st place in the mile run, Alexus Bullard 1^st place in the 2 mile run, Kassidy McCabe 1^st place in the 800 and 400 meter runs. The mile relay team of Andre Sanchez, Kassidy McCabe, Maddie Jenkins, and Raven Manley placed 1^st as well to seal the win for the 7^th grade girls.

The 8^th grade Lady Cubs also had a very successful meet. The results for them are: Cory Nutall 1^st place in the long jump, Kelsey Warren 1^st place in the mile and the 2 mile, Dahlia Rohm placed 1^st in the 800 meter run, Jaylen Hinckley 1^st place in the 100 meter hurdles, Peyton Privett 1^st place in the 400 meter run, and Raven Jordan 1^st place in the 200. The sprint relay team members of Abigail Kellstedt, Jaylen Hinckley, Peyton Privett, and Cory Nutall placed 1^st. The last event of the night also belonged to the Lady Cubs. The mile relay brought home 1^st place with those runners being Macie Morales, Gabbie Orzabal, Peyton Privett, and Raven Jordan.

We are going to enjoy our week off for spring break before getting back to work to compete in our final 2 track meets. Great job Lady Cubs!
