In 2010 the Tiger Powerlifting team had our most successful season yet.  2010 was the first time that A&M Consolidated had a girls powerlifting team.  The team started with only five girls, but three of those girls qualified for the state meet in Corpus Christi.  Christina Salas and Bri Holtkamp will return in 2011 with hopes of making another run at state.  We are also expecting great things from Jackie Gonzales and Maddison Becker in 2011.  We are anticipating a full team of eleven girls for the 2011 season.

 

The boys also had a record setting year.  The Tigers took an entire team to the Regional Meet in 2010, with Chris Ceazer qualifying for the state meet in Abilene.  The entire team is returning for the 2011 season, and we are also very excited about some of the younger lifters that are looking to make a contribution at the regional meet this year.  Our team is led by Chris Ceazer, J.J. Bynum, Zerrick Merchant, Cedrick McCan, and Caden Walker.  They all have their eyes set on state in 2011, and all of our lifters and coaches are expecting a big year in 2011!
